They were conducting an in-house presentation and asked us to prepare a small animation in laser to tell the story they wanted to share.

Case Study: IMAX Launch in Bangkok
Imax Bangkok launched some years ago and they asked us to create a stunning laser animation show that could be shown before each movie showing, explaining the awesomeness of the IMAX system.
It took us about 2 months to create using 3D Studio Max and powerful 3DS to laser converters and we had to lip-sync both English and Thai figures talking to the audience.

4. Venue Considerations and Laser Safety
Every venue is different.
And we need to inspect your venue it to make sure we can perform your show safely.
If you ever had a magnifying glass as a child and tried burning paper, you already know that a small beam of light can create hazard.
More so a laser…
However, you are in the hands of experts and we know what to do…
…and more importantly, what not to do!
You will never see us pointing the 10 watt laser into the audience.
This is known as ‘audience scanning’ and is frowned upon in the industry as a laser can burn the skin, especially the eyes.
So we don’t do it!
Also we will never put our high-powered lasers in small venues, for exactly the same reason.
They are just too powerful!
Even outdoors, we still take care!
Did you know that we even have an app on our phones that tells us when aircraft are near so we can turn off the laser while they pass!
Just to be safe!
Case Study: Coldplay – Full of Dreams Concert
We were asked to be the local Philippine Laser Safety Officer between the local CAAP (Civil Aviation Authority of The Philippines) and StricklyFX who are the laser suppliers and programmers for the Coldplay concert in Manila on 6th April 2017.
The venue was located right in a flight path, near the airport and no one wanted any of the pilots to be ‘laser flashed’ while the setup and concert were happening.
While the pilots almost certainly would not have long term damage, no one wants a laser in their face while landing a plane!
So our task was to make sure this didn’t happen and the show went on without a hitch.
It was amazing to work with StricklyFX and Coldplay!
